Homage Paid to Param Vir Chakra Awardees - Saluting Martyrs of Valour on Kargil Vijay Diwas.

To commemorate the heroes of Kargil on Kargil Vijay Diwas, a profound and reverential homage was paid to the brave recipients of the Param Vir Chakra, the highest Military decoration in India on 27 July 2023 at City Vocational Public School. The school organized a special event under the aegis of Initiative for Moral and Cultural Training Foundation (IMCTF), to honour and commemorate these exceptional warriors who displayed extraordinary courage and sacrifice in the line of duty. The objective of this event was to inspire the students and instill in them a deep sense of respect and pride for these heroic souls.
The event began with a brief introduction to the significance of Param Vir Chakra and the courageous individuals who received this prestigious award. The stories of the awardees were shared, highlighting their acts of valour and selflessness.
The School Principal Ms Anita Tripathi enlightened the students about the Param Vir Chakra awardees and their indomitable courage. A Power Point Presentation showcased rare footage and photographs, underscoring the awe-inspiring heroism of these soldiers. Madam Principal, Vice Principal, Coordinators, teachers and students, offered flowers in memory of the bravehearts. The School Principal said that through such initiatives, CVPS continues to foster a spirit of patriotism and respect for the Nation's defenders, motivating its students to uphold the values of Courage, Sacrifice, and Love for the country.
