The workshop on NEP (National Education Policy) and NCF (National Curriculum Framework), organised at City Vocational Public School on 22 July 2023, was a highly informative and engaging session. The objective of conducting the workshop was to acquaint educators and stakeholders with the latest updates in the Indian Education System. It focused on the key aspects of NEP 2020 and the revised NCF. The Resource Person was Mr Lalit Krishan Trivedi, Director Academics CBSE who has, till date conducted umpteen number of Academic Empowerment Workshops . He emphasized on the shift towards a competency-based, multidisciplinary approach, fostering critical thinking and experiential learning.
The educators gained insights into the 5+3+3+4 model proposed by NEP, restructuring school education, and aligning it with global standards. The session encouraged teachers to adapt their pedagogical methods and assessment techniques to suit the changing educational landscape. Overall, the workshop facilitated a comprehensive understanding of NEP and NCF's objectives, empowering educators to create a more holistic and dynamic learning environment for students.
