An Inter-House Debate Competition was held at City Vocational Public School on 7th November, 2022. Two participants from each house namely Aravali, Nilgiri, Shivalik and Vindhya debated for and against the motion- Artificial Intelligence is Dangerous. The aim of the competition was to hone public speaking skills of the students and teach them to be articulate while expressing their thoughts and opinions. All the participants spoke eloquently on the given topic and highlighted the key areas of its problems and interests which enhanced the knowledge and understanding of the topic amongst students.
The event concluded with declaration of results where Aravali House bagged the first position and Nilgiri House stood second. Best Speaker (Favour) and Best Speaker (Against) were awarded to Manthan Dhawan (IX-C) and Bhawana (X-C) respectively.
