Diwali celebrates the victory of Good over Evil, Light over Darkness, Bliss over Ignorance and Immortality over Death.

It is the Festival of Lights- light that empowers us to commit ourselves to good deeds and brings us closer to divinity._

The celebration of Diwali, ‘The Festival of Lights’ came alive at City Vocational Public School on 22nd October, 2022. To mark Diwali celebrations, the school organised various activities and competitions like Candle Decoration, Diya Decoration , Lantern Making, Candle Making, Floating Rangoli Competition, Card Making , Candle Holder Making, Thali Decoration, Bandhanwar Making which represents promises, happiness, positivism , liveliness, illumination of the spirit of truth and good luck. The whole school wore a festive look with beautiful decorated pots, diyas , mesmerising rangolis and lanterns adorning the reception and corridors. The young students proved that creativity and talent do not have boundaries. 

The Honourable Managing Director of the School, Dr. Himani Agarwal, Director Mr. Prem Mehta, Principal Mrs. Anita Tripathi ,teachers and other staff members together seemed the blessings from Lord Ganesha and Goddess Lakshmi . 

The Management of the School accorded gifts and sweets as a token of wishes to everyone.

The celebration culminated with a message by the honourable Principal of the School Mrs Anita Tripathi, who expressed her deep concern about the environment and advised the students to celebrate Green Diwali. Students were urged to celebrate the festival with Diyas ,Candles ,Sweets and non polluting green crackers. She also wished for the light within everyone to shine bright.
