Co-curricular activities are not decorative frills or window dressing. They are the part and parcel of school curriculum. When pupils participate in these activities under the guidance of teachers (which is an integral part of a Public School Education) they learn new lessons in responsibility, planning, directing their own enterprises, exercising initiative and freedom in self evaluation, besides inculcating in themselves sportsman spirit which is essential in the overall development of personality. These activities make the students excellent learners, efficient workers and perfect citizens. All national, religious and social festivals are celebrated with great enthusiasm to foster a secular outlook.
