City Vocational Public School celebrated74th Republic Day with great zeal and patriotic spirit.
The school Principal Ms Anita Tripathi welcomed the Chief Guest, School Chairperson Dr. Sarojini Agarwal and Managing Director Dr. Himani Agarwal on the occasion.
The National Flag was unfurled by the Chief Guest Dr. Sarojini Agrawal, followed by the National Anthem. The entire atmosphere echoed with slogans. Tanishka Ajay Upmanyu played the inspiring National song 'Vande Mataram' mellifluously . A cascade of incredible dance performances imbued the feelings of patriotism which made the whole atmosphere cheerful. Class VIII student Iti and Vidhi delivered speeches of the freedom fighters.
At the end of the programme, Dr. Sarojini Agrawal while addressing the students apprised the students about the importance of freedom and to inculcate good values in them to become responsible citizens of the country .
The school Principal Ms Anita Tripathi proposed the vote of thanks and wished everyone a Happy Republic Day and Happy Basant Panchami.
