Guru Nanak Dev's birth anniversary was celebrated in the school premises of CITY VOCATIONAL PUBLIC SCHOOL by the students of classes VI - VIII. 

A Special Assembly was organised, which initiated with prayers in Gurmukhi, followed by a demonstration of the customary ‘ Prabhat Pheri’. The students shared useful information from the life and teachings of Shri Guru Nanak Dev ji.

Auspicious serenity and calmness prevailed in the campus with the beautiful humming of the Shabads and it paved the way for a very fruitful and productive day for all. Kartik Purnima and Gurpurab was celebrated by the CVPS family with great pride, honour and respect.

 Madam Principal Ms. Anita Tripathi addressed the students about the noble preachings of Guru Nanak Dev ji and wished that they follow the right and blessed path as chosen by him. She added that the students, through such celebrations, must learn the acts of ‘offering food for bhakti (devotion) and seva (service)’.
