The mythological storytelling competition- KATHA VACHAN was organized at City Vocational Public School on 08 July 2023 in the school auditorium. It brought together the young imaginative minds of students from classes III to V. The event aimed to foster a love for mythology, enhance storytelling skills, and promote creativity among the participants.
Students were encouraged to explore various mythological tales and present them in their own unique styles.The students' presentations were a delightful display of creativity and storytelling techniques. They used various props, costumes, and visual aids to enhance their performances. The event witnessed tales of Lord Satyanarayan, Krishna Gatha, Lord Shiva and Shri Ganesh Gatha etc.
Ishika from Aravali House bagged the 1st position and 2nd rank was grabbed by Palak and Atharv from Nilgiri House.
Madam Principal Ms Anita Tripathi encouraged the participants for their exemplary oratory skills and acknowledged the hard work of the teachers. By fostering creativity, imagination, and cultural understanding, the event left a lasting impact on the students, instilling in them a love for storytelling and a deeper appreciation for the mythological heritage of various cultures.
