Keeping the above statement in view, Madam Anita Tripathi, Principal, City Vocational Public School and Dy. City Coordinator, Meerut, conducted 'Manthan': The Principals Meet' on 17th Dec 2022 in the school premises.
It was indeed a series of valuable information shared by astute speakers Mr. Piush Kumar Sharma, Regional Director CBSE Noida, Mr. R.P Singh, Joint Secretary, Skill Education, CBSE.
Present among the august gathering were Mr. Sudhanshu Shekhar, City Coordinator, Meerut, Mr. Rahul Kesarvani, Mr. Karmendra Singh, Mr. A K Dubey from Meerut School Sahodaya.
The main objectives of the meet were to discuss the role of principals in smooth conduction of forthcoming Board Examination, acquainting the audience with the 'New National Education Policy 2020' & incorporating 'Skill Education' at various levels.
More than 150 renowned Principals and City Coordinators were present from Noida, Ghaziabad, Mathura, Hathras, Shamli, Bulandshahar, Baghpat and Bijnor who attended and benefitted from the vital information shared by the CBSE officials and other knowledgeable speakers.
The program commenced with the floral welcome of the dignitaries by madam principal Ms Anita Tripathi followed by lighting of the lamp and auspicious Saraswati Vandana. The importance of integrity and unity was depicted through a zestful performance by the students followed by a presentation by the young learners of Primary wing who explicated their concern about the environment and showcased ways to save it promoting 'Sustainable Development Goals'.
The students of CVPS showcased their ingenious skills in various skill subjects like AI & Fashion Studies which were applauded by the dignitaries.
Mr. Piush Kumar Sharma,Regional Director CBSE, emphasised that CBSE expects cooperation from the heads of schools for flawless examination and evaluation. He asserted on imparting quality education by adopting holistic approach. He informed that the schools with state-of-the-art infrastructure and dynamic leadership were selected to run the pilot project for SAFAL by CBSE and CVPS is lucky to be chosen amongst them. He further added that schools may contact City Coordinator Mr Sudhanshu Shekhar and Deputy City Coordinator Ms Anita Tripathi for any kind of enquiry or guidance related to CBSE.
Mr. R. P Singh , Joint Secretary- Skill Education CBSE, apprised the audience with the importance of implementing skill education at various levels. He acquainted all with new skill modules and courses by CBSE, including 'O' level by NIELIT. He also laid stress on providing skill education from class VI onwards.
The program culminated with the vote of thanks proposed by the visionary School Principal Ms. Anita Tripathi followed by the National Anthem.
