India's paralympians managed to be all these and much more in an epoch-making campaign at the Tokyo Games where an unparallelled 19 medals, including 5 golds, 8 silver and six bronze medals helped them sign off 24th in the overall tally - THE HIGHEST EVER.
All of the inspirational Paralympians who took part in the quadrennial competition have fought against adversity throughout their lives and yet they never gave up their dream of representing their country at the highest level.
Paralympians indeed deserve the best. More than the prizes their stories need to be told to the world. Such inspirational stuff in the real world is difficult to come across. With this intention in mind City Vocational Public School conducted the activity "Phenomenal Rise of Indian Paralympians"on 11 th November, 2021
The participants were the students of classes IX and VII. All the participants delivered their speeches with great confidence and made the audience learn about the inspirational paralympians with extraordinary skills. The students gave inspirational speeches from the life history of Paralympians.
The event concluded successfully with great words of encouragement and appreciation from the Director of the School, Mr. Prem Mehta.
