Standards Writing Competition

The values children are exposed in their formative years , are etched in their young minds and serve as a force multiplier that has the capacity to transform the future of a Nation.

To promote Standardization and quality among the students, City Vocational Public School organised Standards Writing Competition on 3 August,2023 , an initiative by Bureau of Indian Standards .

The BIS resource person Mr.RP Srivastav threw light on BIS and its role of Standardization in various Industry sectors and how it has helped to enhance the quality of products and services.He emphasised the need for Standardization to maintain consistency in product quality and safety, which is essential for the growth and development of any industry.

The Standards Writing Competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from the students.The event was a great success and provided an opportunity to the students to understand the importance of Standardization and how it can benefit society on the whole.

Manthan Dhawan and Aditya Chaudhary of class X-C bagged the First position, Second position was grabbed by Anchit and Shubham of Class X-C and the Third position was honoured to Sanchi and Apeksha of class X-C.

The School Principal Mrs. Anita Tripathi enlightened the students about the importance of standards in daily life and how they have become integral part of our society.She also ensured a full cooperation and enthusiastic participation in all events and activities of BIS in the future to spread awareness about Standardization.
